The method involves registering two-dimensional actual representations of an examination region (3) of a creature (4) using a computer (2). A deformation of the examination region in one representation is automatically determined relative to deformation of the examination region in other representation. The former representation deforms corresponding to the determined deformation so that the deformed former representation is registered relative to the actual representation. The actual representation and the deformed former representation are displayed simultaneously over a display unit (10).
