The device for the explosion-engineering decoupling of two plant components in which explosive dust is fed in an air stream from a first component via a pipeline (3) to a container of a second component, has a check valve (8) inside a tubular body (9) which is integrated in the pipeline, and a position sensor is associated with the check valve as a controlling means for its monitoring or functioning reliability. By the position sensor, the closed position of the check valve can be checked by deposits on the check valve, or on its contacting stop in the tubular body, being detected.
