The method for producing heavy film (24) by an extrusion process using a device for damming and damping structure-borne- and airborne sound, comprises plasticizing thermoplastic as source material, extruding the thermoplastic by a shaped nozzle to a plastic web (3), passing the plastic web to a smoothing plant, and if necessary, coating the plastic web. A dual-belt calibrator (1) serves as the smoothing plant in which the plastic web is formed to the heavy film, and is formed with cooling zones (25, 26). A mineralized filling material is mixed to the source material for the plastic web. The method for producing heavy film (24) by an extrusion process using a device for damming and damping structure-borne- and airborne sound, comprises plasticizing thermoplastic as source material, extruding the thermoplastic by a shaped nozzle to a plastic web (3), passing the plastic web to a smoothing plant, and if necessary, coating the plastic web. A dual-belt calibrator (1) serves as the smoothing plant in that the plastic web, is formed to the heavy film, and is formed with cooling zones (25, 26). A mineralized filling material is mixed to the source material for the plastic web. A laminating material (18) runs between the exit of the plastic web from the nozzle and the entrance in the dual-belt calibrator in one-way or double-way manner and serves as fleece and/or carpet. Additional or excessive laminating material runs as film in the flow of the distance of the dual-belt calibrator. The filling material is used as heavy spar and/or calcite. The cooling zones are differently actuated in their intensity per cycle progress of the plastic web and/or heavy film. An independent claim is included for a device for producing heavy film in an extrusion process.
