The Floor-standing and wall-hanging heating element (1) has a radiation screen (2) integrated into it. The heating element forms a unit with the radiation screen. The radiation screen is arranged at a certain distance from the radiation surface which is the wall or glass facing surface of the heating plate (1a). The radiation screen is fixed by the lateral coverings (6) of the heating element.
