The closure (1) has a stopper (6) detachably formed on a connecting piece pouring outlet over a narrow section, and provided for sealing the pouring outlet. The stopper is pushed into a connecting piece (4) for sealing after its release, and a sleeve (11) is formed on the stopper over a detachable narrow section. The sleeve is moved after its release from the stopper, and the stopper lies on an upper region of the sleeve, where the sleeve partially covers the connecting piece. The sleeve is detachably formed with its lower edge at an upper end of the stopper. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a closure for a container.
