The ball joint (8) has a ball pin with a shaft area (12). A ball (16) is accommodated in a bearing shell (24) of a joint housing (22) in a slidingly movable manner. A neck area (14) provided between the shaft area and the ball is surrounded by a sealing bellow (26) that has a circulating closing flange (38). A shoulder (40) is formed at a transition between the shaft area and the neck area of the ball pin, where the flange is supported at the shoulder and an outer part (18), and is elastically pre-stressed against the shoulder and the outer part.
