A running mechanism has a fan wheel (FW) and a turbine wheel (TW), which all link in a torque-proof manner with the help of a shaft. The TW fits in an exhaust-gas control section (EGCS). The FW fits in an air-control section (18). The EGCS has a bypass pipe with a final control element (FCE) for bypassing the TW. The FCE can be controlled with the help of an actuating drive (29).
