The mixer for two or more liquids comprises at least three T-mixer units. The two outer units (11, 12) each have two inlets (1, 2; 5, 6). They connect with the central unit (13) which is at right angles to them and has an outlet (10) for the mixed liquids. Periodic pressure-driven or electroosmotic flow is imposed on the basic flow of the liquids through the mixer. An independent claim is included for use of the mixers as components of chemical or biochemical reaction systems in microfluid processing apparatus.
