The scenes - layer is in the form of a 3 - d - scenes - layer is formed, which a three-dimensional, temporally correct and positionally accurate image of the real environment,- a base - layer in the form of a flat base surface, which symbolizes an idealized bottom surface, are calculated only on the basis of the instantaneous value of the flight altitude above ground and the instantaneous attitude data occurring. The base surface, by means of an artificial horizon and is limited with the instantaneous flight condition data and the momentary altitude above ground is continuously updated.
