The present invention relates to a person - machines - interface for supporting a flying device during take-off or landing under a reduced external view, wherein on a single display device a plurality of graphic - layer are superimposed:- a hover - layer for the combined representation of the speed above the ground, the direction of the instantaneous movement - or drifting direction in relation to the helicopter - longitudinal axis as well as the flight altitude above ground,- a scenes - layer, which an image of the real environment in the direction of the flight path of the helicopter and the with the momentary flight condition data and the momentary altitude above ground is continuously updated. The scenes - layer is in the form of a 3 - d - scenes - layer is formed, which a three-dimensional, temporally correct and positionally accurate image of the real environment,- a base - layer in the form of a flat base surface, which symbolizes an idealized bottom surface, are calculated only on the basis of the instantaneous value of the flight altitude above ground and the instantaneous attitude data occurring. The base surface, by means of an artificial horizon and is limited with the instantaneous flight condition data and the momentary altitude above ground is continuously updated.
