The urethral stent, for insertion into the kidney from the bladder, has a control tube (6) extending over the end of the pusher (1). To give a positive fit, the inner hollow end (5) of the stent and the inserted control tube have a polygonal cross section (3). The control tube cross section expands at the projecting end away from the pusher.
