The damper has an elongated body made of a flexible mass clasped by a mooring line. A hard element is partly cast from the flexible mass on each end of the damper and the flexible mass and the hard element come into a fixed and inseparable connection with one another. The flexible mass and the hard element are held at a distance to one another and are mounted and demounted in the mooring line by rapid assembly such that both the firmly fixed ends of the mooring line remain in their position. The damper is positioned again on the mooring line after the assembly.
