The self-adhesive coating- and coating material useful as carrier protection-, shock protection- and protection material against damages during transporting the goods, consist of a nonwoven-, felt-, paper- or fabric material (11), which has a self-adhesive coating (10) coated with a peel-off film (12) on one side and is coated with a flexible shock-resistant plastic material on the other side. The plastic material has a shore-hardness of 45[deg] and is coated with an aliphatic lacquer. The coating material is formed as web- or arc-shaped material.
