The arrangement (1) has a drive control unit (6) controlling movements of a motor unit (2). A converter (4) is arranged at the motor unit. A permanent oscillation detection unit (10) e.g. vibration absorber, is arranged in a housing (5) of the converter, and integrated into a drive control unit. The detection unit detects mechanical oscillations of the motor unit and outputs a signal. The detection unit is arranged in such a manner that the signal is outputted to the drive control unit. The arrangement is arranged in such a manner that the signal is set in relationship with a kinetic momentum. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a motor arrangement.
