The load balance (1) has a weighing bridge (3) driveable from wheels of an axle to be weighed. The weighing bridge and a load cell are arranged within a bed (2) plunged in the soil, where the bed is designed as a prefabricated component. The bed forms a starting surface (6), which is arranged in a driving direction before the weighing bridge and is half as long as the weighing bridge in the driving direction. The bed exhibits a driveable surface, which is aligned with a surface of the weighing bridge approximately with a same height. The bed and the weighing bridge are made up of concrete.
