The device for germinating ballast water in ship by UV radiation (4), comprises a pump line through which ballast water is received and discharged and which is interfused by two groups of ultraviolet transparent cladding tubes, which are sequentially arranged towards the pump line. In the cladding tubes, the UV radiations are arranged for delivering UV radiation into the pump line. The cladding tubes are entangled in circumference direction of the pump line at an angle (alpha ) of 30[deg] and are inclined against the radial direction of the pump line at an angle (beta ) of 30-70[deg] . The device for germinating ballast water in ship by UV radiation (4), comprises a pump line through which ballast water is received and discharged and which is interfused by two groups of ultraviolet transparent cladding tubes, which are sequentially arranged towards the pump line. In the cladding tubes, the UV radiations are arranged for delivering UV radiation into the pump line. The cladding tubes are entangled in circumference direction of the pump line at an angle (alpha ) of 30[deg] and are inclined against the radial direction of the pump line at an angle (beta ) of 30-70[deg] . The cladding tube of one of the group regarding to the centre axis of the pump line is arranged next to a cladding tube of other group. Each group forms a spiral row. The first group is aligned in an angle of 50-70[deg] and the second group is aligned in an angle of 30-49[deg] to the radial direction. The cladding tubes are arranged in an interval of the centre axis. The interval is varied within the groups in which the first group has an interval (r1) in the middle that varies around +- 10% of the radius, during the second group has an interval (r2) in the middle that varies around +- 10% of the radius of the pump line. Each of the group has twelve cladding tubes.
