The method involves positioning profile sections (30, 40) such that front surfaces (32, 42) of the profile sections are oppositely arranged with each other. A foaming mass is injected into hollow chambers (34), such that the foaming mass is distributed for connecting the profile sections to the hollow chambers, where the injection time ranges between 1 to 3 seconds. One of the hollow chambers is compressed at a preset distance from one of the front surfaces during injection of the foaming mass. An independent claim is also included for a device for establishing a connection between profile sections.
