The device has a motor-driven suction blower producing a suction air flow. A filter unit is provided upstream to the suction blower, where the suction air flow flows through the filter unit. A suction head is brought in contact with a surface (2) that is to be cleaned and connected with the suction blower through a suction tube and/or an intake. A suction head (1) has a compressed air nozzle (4) directed towards the surface, where the nozzle is connected with the blower producing compressed air at a compressed-air outlet, through a pressure line.
