The refrigerator has an insulated cooling chamber. A door is provided with insulation and a seal. A cooling unit i.e. adiabatic cyclone tube, pumps heat from the cooling chamber to a heat exchanger that is attached outside the refrigerator. The cooling chamber is provided outside the cooling unit. A vacuum pump is provided at or outside the cooling chamber for generation of low pressure in the cooling chamber. An aerated ultraviolet (UV)-light source is provided in a housing at interior of the cooling chamber. A ventilator is attached in or at the housing of the light source.
