The method involves producing three-dimensional art (19) e.g. stuccowork, before its application on a surface of ceiling (2). The design is provided with a support surface (26) adapted to a surface to be decorated, where the support surface is disposed in the surface and is connected with the surface. A flat base is applied in the surface, where the three-dimensional art is designed as a slide, is made of glass or wood and comprises a model corresponding a graphic artwork.
