The circuit has a balun for transforming an asymmetrical signal into a symmetrical signal within an effective bandwidth. A defected ground structure filter is formed using a strip line technology by a recess in the metallization of a rear side (5) of a substrate (6). A pair of signal lines runs on a front side of the substrate, where the signal lines are connected with the balun. The defected ground structure filter is arranged separately from the balun. The balun is supplied with an asymmetrical input signal at a connection.
