The structure has aluminum pressure casting carriers (1a-1d) arranged at four corners of an inverter. A u-shaped curved sheet metal bar connects the aluminum pressure casting carriers in transverse direction and in longitudinal direction of the inverter, where the sheet metal bar exhibits notched bending edges. The aluminum casting carriers comprise a sheet metal fixation winding boreholes for fixing of sheet metal, sheet metal bar fixation notches for fastening sheet metal bars and unit-suspension holes for suspension of the inverter. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a housing structure of an inverter.
