The layout for heat insulation of internal combustion engine or engine compartment of motor vehicle, comprises a first mat shaped layer (2) and a microporous second mat shaped layer (3) that are heat-resistant towards first- and second temperature. The first layer is produced from fibers, which are high temperature-resistant. The first layer is formed as a needle mat or sewed fiber mat. The first and the second layers are binder-free. The first layer has thickness of 8 mm, which is 50% more than the second layer in the installation condition. The layout for heat insulation of internal combustion engine or engine compartment of motor vehicle, comprises a first mat shaped layer (2) and a microporous second mat shaped layer (3) that are heat-resistant towards first- and second temperature. The first layer is produced from fibers, which are high temperature-resistant. The first layer is formed as a needle mat or sewed fiber mat. The first and the second layers are binder-free. The first layer has thickness of 8 mm, which is 50% more than the second layer in the installation condition. The first layer for reduction of a high temperature, which lies close to the 600-700[deg]C, is formed at 200 K. The second layer is produced from fibers, in which the fibers of the second layer are less temperature-resistant than the first layer. The fibers exhibit a maximum diameter of 6 mu m. The second layer is formed as fiber paper and has a thickness of 4-7 mm in the installation condition. The second layer for reduction of temperature, which lies close to the 400-600[deg]C, is formed at 300 K. The temperature reduction and/or heat isolation through the second layer is larger than the first layer. The thermal conductivity of the second layer is smaller than the first layer. The two layers are steadily and/or completely connected together. The two layers are adhered, needled, and/or sewed with each other.
