The exhaust gas device (100) has a housing with an exhaust gas inflow opening (12) and an exhaust gas discharging opening (13), and a flame resonator for suppressing of flames, which escape from the exhaust gas device. The flame resonator is arranged within the housing and formed as a channel-like resonator area, where the exhaust gas inflows into the resonator area. The housing has a rear shell (10) and a front shell (11), which are brought opposite to each other in an inner side for forming the housing.
