Phosphoric acid ester (A) comprising (a) one or more structural units of orthophosphoric acid or its derivatives from polyphosphoric acid, tetraphosphorous decaoxide, phosphorus oxychloride or phosphorus pentachloride; (b) one or more structural units of alkoxylate compound (I); and (c) one or more structural units of polyols having more than two hydroxyl-groups, is new. Phosphoric acid ester (A) comprising (a) one or more structural units of orthophosphoric acid or its derivatives from polyphosphoric acid, tetraphosphorous decaoxide, phosphorus oxychloride or phosphorus pentachloride; (b) one or more structural units of alkoxylate compound of formula (R 2-O-(CH 2CH 2O) u(C 3H 6O) v(DO) w-H) (I); and (c) one or more structural units of polyols having more than two hydroxyl-groups, which carries one or more alkoxylate groups from CH 2CH 2O-, C 3H 6O- and C 4H 8O-units, where inner half of the alkoxylate groups are arranged in block-like or statistical manner, and (c) optionally carries alkoxylate groups containing bridged phosphorus atoms per molecule, is new. R 26-30C (preferably 12-18C) alkyl or 6-30C (preferably 12-18C) alkenyl; D : 4-20C alkylene, 4-20C alkenylene or -CH(phenyl)CH 2-; u : 0-200, preferably 10-50; and v, w : 0-100, preferably 0-20. Where the groups CH 2CH 2O, C 3H 6O and DO of (A) are arranged in block-wise or statistical manner. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of (A); and (2) cosmetic, pharmaceutical or dermatological composition (A1), comprising (A).
