The pipe unit comprises a flexible corrugated pipe and a rigid pipe. These are held together by a clamp with an internal groove which fits over a fold of the corrugated pipe and a flange on the end of the rigid pipe. The clamp is made up of two sections with a U-shaped cross-section made up of base sections (48, 58) and upper and lower arms (52, 62) which have curved inner edges (59t, 66t).
