The suspension has a wheel-guiding spring strut (5) connected with a body (1) and a wheel and comprising a helical compression spring (3) and a shock absorber (4). The compression spring is designed such that shearing forces are partially compensated by the spring. The spring is designed and/or integrated such that a load on both sides of a spring center line (7) and/or a spring force action line (9) is equally larger in the spring.
