Process for the pyrolytic recycling of waste tires or similar waste from composite materials

A process is proposed for the pyrolytic recycling of waste tires or similar composite materials, in which a separation of the metal components from the composite material before the pyrolysis step is provided with a view to energy-saving utilization with constant product quality and high added value. High quality BTX aromatics and activated carbon can be obtained from the starting materials.
