The device (10) has a restraint guide (20) for restraint coordination of movement of a test person (1), where the device carries out restraint coordinated squat on the person under utilization of a controlled resistance. The guide is formed in such a manner that a pelvis region of a test person is guided in direction of foot and in direction of body back side during making downward movement of restraint coordinated squat. A force resistor (50) is provided for stressing a shoulder region of the person with a defined force. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining physical constitution of a test person.
