The construction has support tubes (8) running parallel to plate sections in respective board element. Rod-shaped or tube-shaped supports (3) are inserted into the support tubes during assembling of the band elements (5), and material, cross-sectional surface, length of the supports and adapted dimensions of the support tubes are selected in such a manner that operational demands developed during operation and/or during gaming occurred within the construction are received without permanent deformation of the construction.
