The motor vehicle door closure has a door lock, operated by a motor and/or by hand. A mechanical link is between the door handle (2) and the lock so that, when the door is locked, the handle is fixed (3) to be immovable in the door. The handle fixing mechanism is released when the manual operation exceeds a given force level (Fs). The fixing mechanism has a locking projection (3.1) and/or a spring ball (3.3), with matching openings (3.2,3.4).
