The sausage cover consists of two natural guts (3, 4) serially arranged in longitudinal direction (6), and a pointed adhesive, which is adhered on a moist surface and has durable adhesive characteristics under moisture influence. The natural guts overlap itself in the region of its ends (1, 2) turned to each other in area-wise manner, and are adhered together. The overlapping region (5) extends itself in the longitudinal direction over a distance of 1 cm. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for producing sausage cover; and (2) a device for producing sausage covering.
