The ornamental seam (18) has an upper thread, a lower thread and a cover (20) e.g. leather cover, sewn in an upper side of a lining part (10) i.e. cover of airbag module. The lower thread has a tensile strength smaller than the upper thread. The seam is sewn over a rip geometry of the cover of the airbag module. Ends of the upper thread and the lower thread are brought to an inner side of the cover of the airbag module, and are fastened at the inner side. The seam runs in a distance to a design seam (16) of the lining part.
