The construction (1) has two nozzle parts (2a, 2b) lying behind each other in a running direction of a fiber path. A nozzle gap (3) passing in a transverse direction of the fiber path is formed between the nozzle parts, where the nozzle gap is formed between the nozzle parts by positioning an intermediate plate (8). A thickness of the intermediate plate defines a width of the nozzle gap. A width profile of the nozzle gap is changeable by using the intermediate plate that is manufactured corresponding to a desired profile. The intermediate plate is made by a grinding process. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting width profile for a nozzle gap.
