The clutch has a power transmission device (1), at which power transmission results through a viscous fluid (17). The device contains a hollow cylinder (3) rotatably stored in a housing (2). Another rotatable cylinder (4) is arranged inside the cylinder (3). An axial and/or radial spacing is provided between the cylinders (3, 4). An electro-rheological or magneto-rheological fluid provided in the spacing has a viscosity that is controllable by an electric or magnetic field.
