The invention relates to a particle sedimentation device comprising a rotational body (60) which can rotate about a rotational axis and a separation chamber (62) which is formed in the rotational body. The separation chamber is embodied in order to act upon the sedimentation of a particle suspension present in the separation chamber (62) during the rotation of the rotational body. The particles collect in a radially external area of the separation chamber (62). A flow-rate determining supply channel (64) having an azimuthal wave length (?s) and comprising a supply channel inlet and a supply channel outlet is formed in the rotational body. The supply channel inlet is arranged in a radially further area towards the supply channel outlet. The supply channel outlet is fludically connected to the separation chamber (62) and is embodied in order to introduce a partial suspension into the separation chamber (62) when rotating the rotational body. The rotational body further comprises a discharge channel (66) comprising a discharge channel inlet and a discharge channel outlet. The discharge channel inlet is arranged in a radially further area towards the discharge outlet. The discharge channel inlet is fludically connected to the separation chamber (62) and the discharge channel (66) is embodied in order to evacuate at least partially the separation chamber (62) by centrifugal force of excess fluid which is formed by a sedimentation provoked by a rotation of the rotational body.
