PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make constant the range of a radio zone at the time of calling from a mobile terminal irrelevantly to communication traffic intensity. ;SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 30 receives pilot channels from both radio base stations 20 and 21 at the border part between radio zones 20a and 21a. The mobile terminal 30 at the time of making a call compares the value of propagation loss (Ptx0-Prx0) as the difference between transmit power intensity information Ptx0 stored in the pilot channel of the radio base station 20 and actually received receive electric field intensity Prx0 with the value of propagation loss (Ptx1-Prx1) as the difference between transmit power intensity information Ptx1 stored in the pilot channel from the radio base station 21 and actually received receive electric field intensity Prx1.
