PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition and the image forming method capable of constructing a CTP system superior in productivity and operability and economy, to put it concretely, high in sensitivity to oscillated wavelength of inexpensive short wavelength semiconductor laser and operable iunder bright safetylight. ;SOLUTION: This photosensitive composition contains (i) at least one kind of titanocene compound, (ii) an additionally polymerable compound having at least one king of ethylenically unsaturated double bond, and (iii) at least one kind of pigment having optical characteristics of having a transmittance of a light of 400 nm wavelength relatively less than that of 500 nm, and the lithographic printing plate is manufactured by subjecting a lithographic blank printing plate having a photosensitive layer containing this photosensitive composition on a hydrophilic surface to scanning exposure by using laser beams shorter in wavelength than 450 nm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
