A method of analysing signalling messages can provide a relative distribution of inbound roaming mobile subscribers between a plurality of mobile networks. The method comprises detecting signalling data sent from or received by a message service centre of a home mobile network of sending mobile subscribers for delivering message data-grams from the sending mobile subscribers to receiving mobile subscribers. The signalling data provides an international mobile subscriber identity number and an identifier indicative of a mobile network with which the receiving mobile subscribers are currently affiliated. The method includes determining from the international mobile subscriber identify number whether each of the receiving mobile subscribers is an inbound roaming mobile subscriber visiting a mobile network with which the receiving mobile subscriber is currently affiliated. If the receiving mobile subscriber is an inbound roaming mobile subscriber, the method includes determining from the identifier indicative of the network, whether the mobile network with which the inbound roaming mobile subscriber is currently affiliated is one of the plurality of mobile networks with respect to which the relative distribution of inbound roaming mobile subscribers is being determined. If the mobile network with which the inbound roaming mobile subscriber is currently affiliated is one of the plurality of networks, the method includes counting the inbound roaming mobile subscriber as being affiliated with the identified one of the plurality of networks to determine the relative distribution of the inbound roaming subscribers.
