Data distribution system based on a point - to - point architecture

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peer-to-peer type content delivery system in which load of each peer is distributed.;SOLUTION: This system comprises a number of dynamic peers DP mutually delivering contents and a center server CS managing the delivery of the contents. Each dynamic peer DP reports the own operating state to the center server CS, and the center server CS calculates and registers the load of each dynamic peer DP based on the operating state. Each dynamic peer DP acquires a content list from the center server CS, searches other dynamic peers DP having a desired content, and downloads the content from a dynamic peer DP having the lowest load. This system further comprises a static peer SP for uploading new contents first.
