An improved composition for controlling plant pathogenic bacteria; and a method of controlling plant pathogenic bacteria. The composition is characterized by containing as the active ingredients an isoxazole compound for controlling plant pathogenic bacteria and at least one imidazole compound represented by the general formula (I): (I) wherein R is C1-6 alkyl or alkoxy and n is an integer of 1 to 5. The control method comprises applying the composition.
