The scooter, powered by an i.c. engine or electric motor (5), consists of a frame (1) with a front wheel (3) steered by a handlebar (2) and a driven rear wheel (4). The driver has his feet placed on foot rests (7g) connected to each side of the frame by hinges (9g) and equipped with rear wheels (8g) so they can move up or down as the scooter is inclined on turns. The frame is equipped with a pair of stops towards its rear end that limit the footplates' downward movement. The engine and brake controls are on the handlebar.
