A safety catheter for injecting fluid, having an open tube (1) into which fluid is injected (10) via the one end, includes a tubular tip (20) connectable (30) in a sealed manner with the tube, with adjacent ends of the channels through the tip and tube coaxial with each other. The connection is broken, to separate the tube and tip, if a couple of forces of a specific value is applied to the tube and tip. A safety catheter for injecting fluid, having a tube (1) with proximal and distal ends (2, 3) and a first channel (4) with first and second open ends (5, 6), into which fluid is injected (10) via the first end, includes a tubular tip (20) with first and second ends (21, 22) and a second channel (23) with first and second open ends (24, 25). The tube and tip are connectable (30) in a sealed manner, with the second end of the first channel coaxial (40) with the first end of the second channel, the connection being broken to separate the tube and tip if a couple of forces of specific value is applied to the tube and tip.
