CAPACITIVE SENSOR FOR DETECTING A FINGER FOR CONTROL AND / OR CONTROL OPERATION

The sensor has an insulating layer (11) forming a detection surface (S) to induce a signal by positioning/displacing a finger (DG) applied on positional reference of the surface (S). A capacitive layer (12) is covered by the layer (11) and formed by alternatively stacking conducting sections (Pi) and non conducting sections (Si). The sections (Pi) are connected to elementary contacts (CAi) to form capacitor parts. A processing circuit evaluates and compares the signal and determines whether the signal corresponds to the presence of the finger to determine the nature of the finger.
