Reversible apertured textile material, free of right side/reverse side, top/bottom, left/right constraints, which can be used freely and optimally in the fields of coverings, furniture or interior decoration, and is characterized in that it is formed from one or more filiform elements such as yarn(s), fibres, filament(s) or tape(s) deposited substantially continuously, in at least one plane or several superposed parallel planes, in order to form a web of filiform element(s) (2) in a plane or several superposed planes, and in that the filiform element or elements of this web are placed so as to exhibit an alternation of apertures and features of geometric or random type, and are linked together by a stitch (5 and 6) extending over said web, being spatially distributed over approximately its entire surface. Such a textile material may be obtained by depositing the web between a lower soluble sheet (1) and an upper soluble sheet (3), by stitching the layers together and by dissolving the sheets, followed by drying.
