COSMETIC USE OF TENSOR AGENTS FOR IMPROVING SKIN HOMEOSTASIS AND / OR SHADOW SPLITNESS

A cosmetic composition comprising mosaic-effect tensing agent(s) in a medium is used for increasing the thickness of the skin or epidermis, for promoting the radiance of the complexion, for improving the density of the skin, for promoting the regeneration and/or reorganization of the papillary dermis or extracellular matrix, for promoting and/or improving the elasticity, firmness or tonicity of the skin, or for reducing the processes of epidermal differentiation and/or promoting the regeneration and/or renewal of the skin. Independent claims are included for: (1) cosmetic method of treatment of dull and/or poorly defined complexion comprising applying a composition including mosaic-effect tensing agent in a medium to people who have a dull and/or poorly defined complexion; (2) cosmetic method of treatment of soft and/or flaccid skin comprising applying the composition to people who have soft and/or flaccid skin or to areas of the body exhibiting a loss of elasticity and/or firmness; and (3) cosmetic method of treatment of the skin comprising applying the composition comprising =3 wt.% mosaic-effect tensing agent to the skin with a frequency of at least twice per week.
