DEVICE COLONIZABLE BY MARINE FAUNA AND INTENDED TO BE AVAILABLE ON THE MARINE FUNDS

The device or reef (1) has a hollow concrete monoblock structure with parallel lateral walls arranged parallel to tidal stream, and front and rear walls (3, 4) inclined towards an interior of the structure with respect to a base (7) of body of water. The structure has lateral openings (12-15) arranged based on their sizes to allow passage of marine fauna, and inner partitions extended between the lateral walls. The walls (3, 4) have a transversal dimension lesser than longitudinal dimension (y) of the lateral walls to reduce hydrodynamic resistance of the structure against the stream. An independent claim is also included for a marine fauna colonizing installation comprising marine fauna colonizing devices.
