The device has a cap (1) for housing a shuttle (2) permitting to open bottles. The shuttle performs stopper`s piercing and extraction operation in a single movement. A fixed or immobile chassis (3) is positioned on the stopper and guides the cap and the shuttle. The chassis is locked with the shuttle with the help of spring loaded balls. The shuttle is positioned inside the cap by rails (8). Each rail slides inside each tipper (16). An independent claim is also included for a method for extracting a stopper from a bottle.
