The collar has a belt with a band (3) and free ends curved to form respective loops (5), where each loop is delimited by an outer belt portion (7) and an underlying inner belt portion (9). Each end of the belt is curved towards an interior of the collar. The portion (9) is extended above the loops, below the band of the belt. The portion (7) has a locking wall (17) with which a locking system is engaged. A recess (45) stops displacement of the portion (9) along the band, during locking of the collar. The portion (9) is applied against the recess, during locking of the collar.
