The structure has a body structure (1) whose members i.e. front hinge pillar (2), center pillar (3) and rail (4), are formed by a hollow body and are joined to each other by body structure nodes (A, B). A rigid reinforcement element (10) is provided at the level of the nodes inside the members, and is connected to the members by rigid connections (11-14), where the element is formed by a tube or rod. The rigid reinforcement element has deformable damping bodies (20) at the level of one of the rigid connections, where the damping body is made of viscoelastic material.
