Low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation system for a supercharged diesel type motor vehicle combustion engine, comprising a particulate filter device (7) and an exhaust flap (19) mounted in its exhaust line , a recirculation loop between the exhaust line downstream of the particulate filter and an air intake pipe, an exhaust gas recirculation valve (10) mounted in said loop, comprising control means of the position of the recirculation valve and the exhaust flap and means for regulating an engine operating parameter, adapted to act on the control means of the position of the exhaust flap, characterized in that the control means of the position of the recirculation valve are adapted to cause the opening or closing of said valve independently of the control means.
